Ireka wins RM16mil clinic construction job

PETALING JAYA: Ireka Corp Bhd (ICB) has accepted a letter of award from ANS Development Sdn Bhd for the construction of a health clinic in Penang, worth RM15.5mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the construction and property development firm said the project that commenced on Nov 10, is scheduled to be completed on Aug 21, 2028.

“The acceptance of the award is in the ordinary course of business and will strengthen the group’s existing order book. The project is expected to contribute a stable revenue stream to the ICB group over the duration of the project.

“The board is of the opinion that the award and the implementation of the project are expected to contribute positively to the net assets and earnings per share of ICB and its subsidiaries for the financial year ending June 30, 2026, and subsequently throughout the duration of the project.”
