Guangdong Electric Power A announced that on December 8, 2025, units 3 and 4 of the Maoming Bohe Power Plant 2 x 1000MW unit project invested and built by its holding subsidiary passed 168 hours of full load test operation, and were connected to the grid and put into commercial operation. The project is located in the Binhai New Area of Maoming City, with a total investment of 7.484 billion yuan. The estimated annual power generation capacity is 8.6 billion kilowatt-hours, and the comprehensive energy consumption of the unit is at the advanced level in China.
