What is a Cash Secured Put Option?

A cash secured put is an options trading strategy where an investor sells a put option and simultaneously sets aside enough cash to purchase the underlying asset if the option is exercised.

You must ensure that you have sufficient cash in your Equities Cash (USD) to open new position for Cash Secured Put Option.

The cash secured amount will be the option contract's strike price multiplied by the number of shares (Option Strike Price x 100 shares).
