How to initiate a Shares Transfer Out request?


To initiate Shares Transfer Out request on the Webull App,


1. Tap the "Menu" logo at the bottom right of the screen

2. Tap on "Menu" in the shortcuts section

3. Tap on "Share Transfer Out" in the trading section

4. Tap on "Transfer out US stocks" or "Transfer out MY stocks"

5. Fill in and submit your Shares Transfer Out request

Please be advised that any discrepancies in the submitted information, such as the Brokerage Account ID or Delivering Broker email address (e.g. putting personal account ID/emails instead of the Brokerage ID/emails), may result in extended processing times for your transfer application.

Please take note of the following:

1. There must be no change of beneficial ownership.

2. Webull Malaysia only supports Depository Trust and Clearing (“DTC") share transfers.

3. Currently, Automated Client Account Transfer System (“ACAT”) Transfer is NOT supported.

4. The only products supported for transfer out are US Exchange listed Stocks and Exchange-Trade Funds ("ETFs").

5. Transfer out is not allowed when the account has a margin call.

6. Webull charges a fee of USD 100 per symbol per transactions for US Share Transfer Out.

7. Shares Transfer Out may take up to 20 business days for processing. Subject to counterparty processing time.

8. Webull charges a fee of MYR 20 per symbol per transactions (MYR10 for CDS Transfer Fees and MYR10 for Broker Processing Fee) for MY Share Transfer Out. A 8% Sales and Services Tax (SST) is applicable on the above fees and charges as levied by the Malaysia Government.

9. The following are not supported for Shares Transfer out to another brokerage account (for US):

a. OTC Symbols

b. Options Position

c. Fractional Shares in the US Market

d. Penny Stocks

e. Warrants
