How Can I Keep My Account Safe (TnG)?

1. Regularly Update Your Password

Keep your account secure by changing your password every 3 to 6 months. Avoid reusing passwords from other accounts. Staying proactive helps protect you from new and evolving threats.

How to update your password:

Go to Profile Icon > Settings > Account & Security > Change Login Password.

2. Review & Remove Inactive Devices

The Two-Factor Authentication feature adds an extra layer of protection by ensuring your account is only accessible from devices you trust. To protect your account:

Regularly review your trusted devices and remove any that are outdated or no longer in use—especially shared or public computers.

We do not recommend using public computers to access your account. If you must, always log out fully afterward, avoid saving login details, and remove that device from your trusted list.

How to update your Trusted Devices:

Go to Profile Icon > Settings > Account & Security > Two-Factor Authentication > Edit

3. Regularly Update Your Webull App and Device OS

Keep your device’s operating system and Webull app up to date with the latest versions.

Updates often include important security fixes that protect you from new threats.

Avoid installing apps from unknown or untrusted sources to keep your device safe.

Do not use rooted or jailbroken devices—they are more vulnerable to attacks.

4. Passcode Locks

Add an extra layer of protection by securing your phone or device with:

A strong passcode or screen lock

This helps prevent unauthorized access to your Webull account—even if your device is lost or stolen.

5. Avoid Using Public or Unsecured Wi-Fi Networks

Logging in over unsecured Wi-Fi networks (like those in cafes, airports, or hotels) can put your personal data at risk. To stay safe, always use a secure and trusted network.
