CAT Fees

Starting January 1st, 2025, a new Regulatory Fee (the Consolidated Audit Trail (CAT) fee) will be applied to your trading activity for buy and sell transactions. This fee is charged to support the development of the FINRA CAT.

The CAT is a regulatory initiative mandated by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to create a comprehensive audit trail of both equity and options trades in the U.S. markets.

The CAT Fee is a charge assessed to industry members, such as broker-dealers like Webull, to fund both the historical development and the ongoing operational costs of the CAT system.

How much is the CAT fee?

- NMS Equities: USD0.00004/share

- Options: 0.0046/share

- OTC Equities: USD0.00000046/share

Note:

1. NMS is referring to National Market System.

2. For more details, please visit the CAT Fee Webpage or contact the Help Desk.

3. Webull supports only liquidation of Over-The-Counter (OTC) stocks.
