What's Going On With Exascale Labs Stock Monday?

Benzinga·10/19/2026 11:38:04

Exascale Labs Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:XLAB) stock is trading higher by more than 27% during Monday’s premarket session as traders lean into a higher-risk tone and chase upside momentum in smaller, more volatile tech names.

Nasdaq futures are up 1.11% while S&P 500 futures have gained 0.50%.

XLAB Stock Remains Highly Volatile

The micro-cap stock had a market capitalization of about $87.5 million based on the previous close. The company’s small market value and sharp volume increases or decreases can drive significant share-price volatility.

Trading activity was also unusually heavy. Session volume reached 12.2 million shares, compared with the stock’s 100-day average volume of 0.7 million shares.

The early gap higher is lining up with a risk-on premarket tape, where traders are more willing to pay up for higher-beta moves.

Recent Highlights

The next-generation AI compute infrastructure provider completed its business combination with D. Boral ARC Acquisition I Corp and began trading on the Nasdaq Global Market on Aug. 28.

The company reported its fourth-quarter results on Sept. 28 with fiscal year 2026 revenues of $14.8 million, an increase of 111.3% year over year.

The growth was driven by accelerating demand for its software-defined GPU-as-a-Service platform.

Net loss for 2026 reached $12.2 million, compared to $7.7 million in the previous year.

The company attributed higher operating expenses to scaling infrastructure, market presence expansion, and technology platform advancement, as well as a non-cash fair value adjustment on its SAFEs.

The company held $2.7 million in cash as of June 30, and subsequently gained access to approximately $11.8 million in net cash proceeds following its business combination.

Expanding Customer Base and Commercial Partnerships

The company has an expanding customer base with a qualified customer pipeline of $300 million and a 68% customer renewal rate.

Recent strategic partnerships include an LOI with Compal Electronics for next-generation 800 VDC GPU validation platforms and an MOU with EnergyBank for floating offshore wind-powered AI compute.

The company expanded its bases further after securing an $8.2 million deal with Sunon Inc. to supply Nvidia-powered GPU servers on Oct. 9.

Exascale also appointed Jake Carney as Chief Financial Officer, effective Sept. 25.

Fiscal 2027 Outlook

For fiscal 2027, Exascale outlined three key growth priorities. The company plans to expand its network of data center hosting sites and GPU clusters across North America, Asia and Europe.

It also aims to commercialize its proprietary 800-volt direct-current power systems and modular high-density cooling solutions to address power and cooling constraints in enterprise AI workloads.

Additionally, Exascale plans to generate revenue from its enterprise software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform.
