Silence Therapeutics, Disc Medicine, Veradermics And Other Big Stocks Moving Higher On Monday

U.S. stocks were mixed, with the Dow Jones index falling around 100 points on Monday.

Shares of Silence Therapeutics PLC – ADR (NASDAQ:SLN) rose sharply after the company agreed to be acquired by Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany.

The purchase price of $20 per ADS in cash represents an enterprise value of $1.1 billion and an equity value of around $1.3 billion.

Silence Therapeutics shares jumped 125.7% to $19.60 on Monday.

• Disc Medicine Inc (NASDAQ:IRON) gained 24.7% to $70.90 after the company announced topline results from the APOLLO Phase 3 trial of bitopertin in erythropoietic protoporphyria, including X-linked protoporphyria met all its primary and secondary endpoints.
• Applied Digital Corp (NASDAQ:APLD) surged 9.6% to $19.78.
• AXT Inc (NASDAQ:AXTI) rose 9.4% to $56.33.
• Parabilis Medicines Inc (NASDAQ:PBLS) gained 9.3% to $24.86. Parabilis Medicines will present updated clinical data for Zolucatetide in patients with desmoid tumors at ESMO Congress 2026.
• United States Antimony Corp (NYSE:UAMY) rose 9.1% to $3.10.
• SanDisk Corp (NASDAQ:SNDK) rose 7.8% to $1,401.54.
• Maxlinear Inc (NASDAQ:MXL) gained 7.7% to $76.82.
• FormFactor Inc (NASDAQ:FORM) rose 6.6% to $111.91.
• Western Digital Corp (NASDAQ:WDC) climbed 5.9% to $351.60.
• Veradermics Inc (NYSE:MANE) gained 5.7% to $115.00 as the company’s oral VDPHL01 achieved early, consistent, and robust hair growth in positive Phase 3 ‘304’ clinical trial in male pattern hair loss.
• AST SpaceMobile Inc (NASDAQ:ASTS) rose 5.5% to $42.88.
• Intel Corp (NASDAQ:INTC) gained 4.8% to $94.23. JP Morgan analyst Harlan Sur upgraded Intel from Underweight to Neutral and maintained the price target of $85.
• Rambus Inc (NASDAQ:RMBS) rose 4.7% to $91.35.
• Alpha and Omega Semiconductor Ltd (NASDAQ:AOSL) climbed 4.4% to $22.70. Alpha and Omega Semiconductor will announce fiscal first quarter financial results on Nov. 5.
• Aehr Test Systems (NASDAQ:AEHR) gained 4.2% to $63.16.
• Navitas Semiconductor Corp (NASDAQ:NVTS) rose 3.6% to $8.64.
