"Ford delivered a strong quarter as we’re entering a defining phase of the company’s transformation with the launch of our Universal Electric Vehicle platform, Ford Energy, an all-new F-150 and a new lineup of vehicles around the world over the next few years," said Jim Farley, Ford president and CEO.

"In addition, our cost actions and record growth in software services and parts demonstrate how we’re growing beyond the vehicle sale and moving us toward an 8% adjusted EBIT margin by 2029," Farley added.
