Vector Group Agrees To Be Acquired By Tokyo-Based JT Group For $15.00 Per Share In Cash Or Approximately $2.4B Of Total Equity Value

After closing, Vector Group will become a wholly owned subsidiary of JT Group. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including the tender of a majority of the outstanding shares of Vector Group and the receipt of applicable regulatory approvals. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2024.
