Electronic Arts Posts Upbeat Earnings, Joins Mattel, Johnson Controls, Mueller Water Products And Other Big Stocks Moving Higher On Wednesday

U.S. stocks were mostly lower, with the Nasdaq Composite falling around 100 points on Wednesday.

Shares of Electronic Arts Inc (NASDAQ:EA) rose sharply during Wednesday's session after the company reported better-than-expected third-quarter EPS results. B of A Securities raised its price target on the stock from $130 to $132.

Electronic Arts posted net bookings of $2.215 billion and GAAP earnings of $1.11 per share, beating estimates of $1.07 per share.

Electronic Arts shares jumped 5.4% to $127.83 on Wednesday.
