KUALA LUMPUR: Stocks to watch today include Econpile Holdings Bhd, Crescendo Corporation Bhd (CCB), NexG Bhd, Berjaya Corp Bhd (BCorp), Telekom Malaysia Bhd (TM), Keyfield International Bhd, Gamuda Bhd, Sunway Bhd, Steel Hawk Bhd, IHH Healthcare Bhd and Petroliam Nasional Bhd (PETRONAS).
PETRONAS posted a 24% year-on-year (y-o-y) drop in revenue to RM132.6bil and 19% drop in profit after tax to RM26.2bil in the 1H25 as a result of the weaker pricing power.
NexG has secured a letter of award from the Home Affairs Ministry to supply Malaysian International Passports with a ceiling value of RM1.728bil premised on an estimated production of 3 million units per year for six years.
Econpile’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Econpile (M) Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM23.46mil construction contract from Matrix Concepts (Central) Sdn Bhd.
CCB’s wholly owned subsidiary, Crescendo Development Sdn Bhd has entered into a conditional agreement to sell a 50.06-hectare industrial land in Bandar Cemerlang Industrial Park, Johor, to MSFusion Sdn Bhd for RM263.21mil.
BCorp’s 4Q25 net loss widened to RM207.2mil from RM152.5mil a year earlier, hit by non-cash impairments, while revenue slipped 3.8% to RM2.37bil on weaker retail, services and property contributions.
For FY25, BCorp posted a net loss of RM556.1mil compared with a net profit of RM410.4mil in FY24, while revenue fell to RM9.34bil from RM10.1bil.
TM posted a 2Q25 net profit of RM402.97mil, up from RM396.42mil a year earlier, though revenue fell 4.7% to RM2.77bil from RM2.91bil.
Keyfield’s wholly owned unit, Keyfield Marine Sdn Bhd, will acquire the Carimin Acacia, a nine-year-old Dynamic Positioning 2 Accommodation Workboat (DP2 AWB), for RM76mil cash.

Sunway plans to list its healthcare arm, Sunway Healthcare Holdings Bhd (SHH), on Bursa Malaysia’s Main Market by 1Q26. SHH is 84% owned by Sunway City and 16% by Greenwood Capital.
CIMB posted a 2Q25 net profit of RM1.89bil, down from RM1.96bil a year earlier, with EPS at 17.57 sen versus 18.35 sen. Quarterly revenue was flat at RM5.6bil.
IHH’s 2Q25 net profit dropped 29% to RM443mil, or 5.02 sen per share, pulling first-half earnings 31.2% lower to RM957mil. Revenue, however, rose 3.4% to RM6.3bil, bringing first-half revenue to RM12.6bil.
