KUALA LUMPUR: Tex Cycle Technology (M) Bhd is expanding its waste management capabilities via a collaboration with Victory Recovery Resources Sdn Bhd to focus on specialised waste streams, such as e-waste.

In a statement, Tex Cycle said its wholly-owned subsidiary will partner the Melaka-based waste treatment and recycling solutions provider to leverage each other's scheduled waste codes issued under the Environmental Quality (Scheduled Wastes) Regulations 2005, allowing them to manage a broader range of scheduled waste categories.

It said the collaboration enhances opportunities for cross-industry expansion, operational synergies, and the ability to provide end-to-end sustainable waste management solutions across Malaysia.

"By collaborating with Victory Recovery Resources, we are now in a stronger position to capture opportunities in specialised waste streams, particularly e-waste.

"This partnership not only enhances our ability to deliver comprehensive and sustainable waste management solutions but also positions us to support Malaysia’s transition towards a circular economy," said Tex Cycle group CEO Gary Dass Anthony Francis.

Victory Resources deputy managing director Valarie Heng said the complementary expertise will enable it to serve the market more effectively and deliver enhanced value to its stakeholders.
