PETALING JAYA: Homeritz Corp Bhd’s net profit fell 24% to RM5.13mil in the fourth quarter ended Aug 31, 2025 (4Q25) compared with RM6.8mil posted in the same quarter a year ago.

The furniture maker posted a lower revenue of RM51.51mil in 4Q25 against RM56.5mil, while earnings per share for the period fell to 1.12 sen from 1.46 sen.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, Homeritz noted both decreases were mainly due to the weakening of the US dollar as the majority of its revenue is denominated in the currency.

In addition to that, there were higher expenses during the quarter related to a fire incident.

For the full financial year 2025 (FY25), revenue hit RM225.12mil compared to RM229.72mil in FY24. Earnings per share for FY25 stood at 5.97 sen.

Moving forward, Homeritz said it will remain focused on its core business of design, manufacture and sale of upholstered home furniture.

“We will continue concerted efforts to develop new products, new designs for existing products, deriving better cost efficiencies and effective cost management across all functions,” its filing noted.
