KUALA LUMPUR: Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd has, via its wholly-owned subsidiaries Permatang Bakti Sdn Bhd (PBSB) and Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn Bhd (KPM), accepted letters of award with a total contract value of RM197.7mil.

The construction firm said the first contract, valued at RM100.2mil, was secured from Serta Usaha Sdn Bhd, involving the construction of a 39-storey serviced apartment, Viera 15, in Section 15, Shah Alam.

The project comprises 479 units and six levels of podium parking, among others. Work will commence on Nov 17, 2025, and is expected to be completed within 34 months from the commencement date.

A second contract valued at RM97.5mil was awarded by Tanjung Pinang Development Sdn Bhd to KPM, which entails the construction of five canal bridges at Andaman Island in Penang.

The bridges measure 80m each, connecting Phases 2A, 2B and 2C of the project. The project is scheduled to begin on Nov 24, 2025, and is expected to be completed within 33 months from the commencement date.

According to the group, the contracts were undertaken on an arm's length basis and based on normal commercial terms.

Serta Usaha is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kerjaya Prospek Property Bhd, while Tanjung Pinang Development is an indirect subsidiary of Eastern & Oriental Bhd, in which certain directors and major shareholders of Kerjaya have direct or indirect interests.

"We are pleased to have secured these two contracts in Shah Alam and Andaman Island. Both regions are thriving and poised to become key hubs of urbanisation," said Kerjaya Prospek CEO and executive director Tee Eng Tiong.

With these wins, the group has secured a total of nine contracts year-to-date, valued at a combined RM1.16bil, which brings its total outstanding order book to RM3.7bil.
