NHB wins RM56mil solar jobs

PETALING JAYA: Nuenergy Holdings Bhd (NHB) has secured a letter of award from Muhibbah Solar Sdn Bhd relating to engineering, construction and commissioning for the development of 15MWac large scale solar photovoltaic plant in Beaufort, Sabah worth RM16.89mil.

It also secured an award with Muhibbah Solar for the sale and purchase of materials worth RM39.41mil for the project.

NHB said the project is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of next year.

“The rationale for undertaking this contract is to strengthen NHB’s presence in Sabah and Sarawak and accelerate its market penetration in the region.

“The contract is expected to contribute positively to NHB’s revenue and profitability, while showcasing NHB’s technical capability and capacity to deliver large-scale projects in Sabah and Sarawak.”

The group said the contract also reinforces NHB’s reputation and competitiveness within the regional market, further positioning it for continued growth and future opportunities across Malaysia.
