Salama Cooperative Insurance Discloses Timeline for Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance Merger

03:16 AM EST, 12/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Salama Cooperative Insurance (SASE:8050) on Sunday disclosed the timetable of its merger with fellow insurer Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SASE:8311). The insurance company expects the combination to be effective on Jan. 7, 2026, if the merger secures approval from both parties' shareholders at the first or second extraordinary general meetings. If cleared at the third meeting, it will be effective on Feb. 3, 2026. Saudi Enaya added that the merger agreement is still subject to the other requirements.
