The Chief Secretary for Administration of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, Mr Chan Kwok-ki, said in a post on social platforms today that the 8th Legislative Council general election was successfully completed. He sincerely congratulated everyone who was successfully elected as members of parliament, and thanked the 161 candidates from different sectors for their hard work. Chen Guoji said that he would like to thank all sectors of the community for their active participation, so that we can successfully elect the new Legislative Council in this sad and difficult time, bringing important support to the HKSAR in achieving good governance and good governance.
