The two sides exchanged views on Sino-German and Sino-European automobile industry and supply chain cooperation. In response to the inquiry, Ling Ji explained the situation at Anshi Semiconductors and emphasized that the source of the chaos in the global semiconductor supply chain lies with the Dutch side. China has always taken a responsible attitude, adopted export license exemptions in a timely manner, and made every effort to reduce adverse effects on the automobile industry. We hope that the German and European Association of Automobile Manufacturers will play an active role to push Anshi Semiconductor to find solutions to stabilize the global supply chain as soon as possible.

Mueller said that the German-Chinese automobile industry cooperation has been fruitful, and German car companies continue to increase their investment in China and deepen strategic cooperation with Chinese partners. The Association of German Automobile Manufacturers opposes the imposition of countervailing duties on Chinese electric vehicles by the European Union, pays close attention to the progress of the Anshi semiconductor issue, and expects companies to resolve internal disputes through dialogue.

Kang Linsong said that in recent years, European car companies, including Mercedes-Benz, have continuously raised their level of localization and are deeply integrated into the development of China's automobile production supply chain to achieve the “in China, for the world” strategy.
