Yardeni Research suggests that compared to other constituent stocks in the S&P 500 index, the “Big Seven Tech” should now be effectively underrated to predict changes in their profit growth trend in the future. Ed Yardeni, a senior Wall Street research expert, pointed out, “We are seeing more competitors pour into the field where the 'Big Seven 'obtain huge profits,” and it is expected that technology will boost the productivity and profit margins of other S&P 500 companies. He also added that, in reality, “every company is transforming into a technology company.” The strategist pointed out in a research report released on Sunday that it is no longer reasonable to recommend overassigning the IT and communication services sector in the S&P 500 portfolio since 2010. The company proposed adjusting these two segments to equal market weight, while overbalancing the financial and industrial sectors, and the healthcare sector.
