According to a report on Japan's “Yomiuri Shimbun” website on December 8, on December 7, Japan's Social Democratic Party leader, Fukushima Mizuho, delivered a speech on the theme “The Essence of the Takanabe Cabinet” at a study conference hosted by the party's prefectural federation held in Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture. About 70 people, including supporters, participated in this study session. Referring to Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi's remarks that “something is wrong in Taiwan” may constitute an “existential crisis situation,” Fukushima strongly stated, “Even judging from the government's opinions up until now, this is against the Constitution.
