The proportion of disasters caused by freezing and thawing effects and infiltration of rain and snow in winter and spring has increased year by year, showing the characteristics of a double cycle of “mainly flood season, with winter and spring occurring concurrently”, posing a huge threat to the lives and property safety of local people. According to the meteorological department's forecast, the risk of geological disasters is still high due to the combination of low temperatures, rain, snow, and freezing weather in the Wumeng Mountain region this winter and spring.
