BRC: UK Retail Sales Growth Eases to 1.2% in November on 'Pre-Budget Jitters'

Analysts were expecting a 2.4% increase for the month. The BRC attributed the reading to weaker-than-expected Black Friday sales amid "pre-Budget jitters."
