Under the partnership, test vehicles are expected to be deployed in 2026, which will be followed by a phased approach of launching prototypes and pilot fleets. The initial production target is set for 2029. The partners plan to work with the European regulators to gain approvals for testing, certification, and deployment of the autonomous vehicles.
