On the afternoon of December 9, local time, the Cambodian Ministry of Defense issued a statement saying that as of 11:00 noon on the same day, due to the Cambodian-Thai border clashes, Cambodia had evacuated 5,4550 people, including 12,996 in Oudomanjee Province, 13056 in Preah Vihear Province, 13,686 in Banteay Meanchey Province, 3,736 in Pursat Province, and 11076 in Siem Reap Province. The statement also said that the Thai military attack had killed 7 people and injured 20 others in Cambodia.
