From December 4 to 7, Wu Haiping, Deputy Director of the General Administration of Customs, led a Chinese customs delegation to visit Belarus. During the visit, Valiev, the First Vice Chairman of the Customs Committee of the Republic of Belarus, and Smilikin, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food co-hosted the 5th meeting of the Sino-Belarusian Customs Inspection and Quarantine Cooperation Sub-Committee to exchange views and sign 2 outcome documents on topics such as implementing the important consensus of the heads of state of China and Belarus, deepening practical cooperation in customs inspection and quarantine, and promoting the development of agricultural and food products trade. Meanwhile, the delegation exchanged work with the ambassador to Belarus, visited places such as customs control sites in Brest, Belarus, agricultural products manufacturers, and the Sino-Belarusian Industrial Park, and laid flowers at the Brest Fortress Memorial Hall at the Brest Fortress Memorial Hall.
