AWC wins RM52mil contract for mosque maintenance

KUALA LUMPUR: AWC Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary, Ambang Wira Facilities Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM52.28mil contract to provide facilities management and maintenance services for Kompleks Masjid Putra in Putrajaya.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the engineering and facilities management firm said Ambang Wira signed and accepted a letter of acceptance from the Public Works Department (JKR) on Dec 9.

The 5.25-year contract will run from Feb 1, 2026, to April 30, 2031.

AWC said the contract is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings and net assets throughout the contract period.
