The two standards will be officially implemented on May 1, 2026. The publication and implementation of two mandatory national standards will technically resolve issues such as “who can fly” and “who is flying” of drones, support the effective implementation of the “Interim Regulations on the Administration of Unmanned Aircraft Flight”, and provide an important guarantee for the safe and orderly development of the drone industry.
