Demolition is imminent at the future site of Gallery Haus, a $125 million mixed-use multifamily project in downtown St. Petersburg led by Black Salmon and LD&D, with LD&D’s partner IGEQ participating in the venture. The milestone follows the closing of a $6 million site-work loan with Osprey Capital, and KAST Construction appointed as general contractor for the 23-story development.

Located at 155 17th Street South in St. Petersburg’s downtown corridor, Gallery Haus will deliver 254 residences, more than 10,000 square feet of amenities and coworking space and a fitness facility facing the Pinellas Trail, as well as a coffee shop integrated to the lobby as part of the ground-floor retail.

The site sits steps from Tropicana Field, where a newly proposed $6.8 billion plan by Ellison Development, ARK Invest and Horus Construction aims to transform the Historic Gas Plant District into an economic and cultural hub.
