South Korea's Samsung SDI said on Wednesday that its subsidiary Samsung SDI America has signed an agreement to supply lithium iron phosphate batteries to a US energy infrastructure development and operation company. Samsung SDI said in a statement that the contract is worth more than 2 trillion won, adding that the delivery period will begin in 2027 for a period of three years.
