According to the “Asian Development Outlook 2025” report released by the Asian Development Bank on December 10, the ADB decided to raise its forecast for China's economic growth rate in 2025 by 0.1 percentage points, thanks to the resilient performance of China's exports and continued strength in fiscal policies. The report also predicts that the growth rate of developing economies in the Asia-Pacific region will reach 5.1% in 2025, higher than the 4.8% forecast in September. ADB chief economist Park Chi-su said that although unprecedented uncertainty has cast a shadow over the global trade environment, the strong economic fundamentals of the Asia-Pacific region have supported the region's strong export performance and steady growth.
