Saudi's Annual Industrial Production Jumps 8.9% in October

01:06 AM EST, 12/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Saudi Arabia's industrial production rose 8.9% year over year in October, following a 9.3% growth in September, the kingdom's General Authority for Statistics said Wednesday. The increase was primarily driven by the rise in mining and quarrying activity, manufacturing activity, electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply activity, along with water supply, sewerage and waste management and remediation activities. On a monthly basis, the index was up 0.3%.
