Shannon Saccocia said in a report that regardless of whether the Federal Reserve cuts interest rates this week, Lubomai expects interest rates to fall, thereby stimulating further economic growth and supporting the prospects for risky assets. The chief investment officer of the asset management company's wealth department said, “Although market expectations for the Fed to cut interest rates by 25 basis points on December 10 have fluctuated sharply in recent weeks, the most important thing is the central bank's overall easing tendencies and the constructive impact this has had on the US economy and risk market.” Saccocia said that although there are still risks in the timing and extent of the Fed's interest rate cut, Lubomai believes these risks will not change the likely end result — that is, the federal funds rate will be lower and more relaxed by the second half of next year.
