At the invitation of the Brunei Legislative Council, Peng Qinghua, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and president of the Chinese People's Association for Peace and Disarmament, led a delegation to visit the country from December 9 to 10 to meet with Sultan Hassanar of Brunei and Legislative Council President Rahman, and attended the “Contributing Civil Strength to Building a Chinese Community of Destiny” China-Brunei civic dialogue event.
