China Science and Technology Industry Group (08111) subsidiary plans to provide EPC services for Tingxi to build electric vehicle charging facilities

According to the Zhitong Finance App, China Science and Technology Industry Group (08111) announced that on December 10, 2025, China Technology Industry Investment (a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company) signed an agreement with Tingyi Engineering Co., Ltd., and China Technology Industry Investment (as a contractor) will provide EPC services for Tingyi to build electric vehicle charging facilities.

I would like to refer to the Company's announcement dated November 24, 2025. Regarding the two contracts signed between China Technology Industry Investment and Ting Yi on November 24, 2025, China Technology Industry Investment will provide EPC services to Tingyi to build an electric vehicle charging facility in Kwun Tong, Hong Kong, while China Technology Industry Investment has always provided EPC services to Tingyi. As part of the company's strategic plan to expand the scope of services, the company has identified the Hong Kong EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) service industry as a major area for expansion. This move is due to the industry's significant growth potential and synergy with the company's existing business operations in the field of new energy.

Contracts are concluded in the Group's day-to-day and ordinary business processes. This marks a strategic move to officially establish EPC services as an integral part of the Group's main business division. This move will diversify and strengthen the Group's financial revenue base, and the revenue from the contract will be included in the existing new energy power system integration and power sales business division. The timing of this expansion is right to grasp the growing popularity of electric vehicles in Hong Kong, which is driving huge demand for related infrastructure (including electric vehicle charging facilities).
