Tadawul Shares Gain as Saudi Arabia's Industrial Production Growth Continues

08:06 AM EST, 12/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- The Tadawul All Share Index closed Wednesday 0.25% higher as the increase in Saudi Arabia's industrial production boosted investor sentiment. According to the General Authority for Statistics, the kingdom's industrial production index for October rose 8.9%, compared with the 9.3% growth rate in September. Month over month, industrial production climbed 0.3%. "Compared to October of the previous year, the sub-index of manufacturing activity increased by 5.5%, supported by an increase in the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products which increased by 8.0%, and manufacturing of chemicals and chemical products which increased by 8.1%," the statistics agency said in its report. In other news, the US Federal Reserve's rate decision is hours away and policymakers are expected to cut interest rates by 25 basis points. Back at home, shareholders cleared a proposal to increase View United Real Estate Development's (SASE:9591) share capital to 66 million Saudi riyals from 33 million riyals. The Saudi Exchange also set the fluctuation limits for the capital boost at 2.99 riyals. Shares of the real estate developer edged up 0.33%. Meanwhile, Saudi Industrial Export Co. (SASE:4140) received a notice regarding the cancellation of its subscription offer for the FAAD Industrial Fund after the fund failed to reach its minimum target. The supply chain and trade company gained 4.57% at closing.
