KOF Global Barometers Improve in December

08:34 AM EST, 12/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- The KOF Swiss Economic Institute's global economic barometers improved in December, indicating continued "moderate" growth, with both indicators coming in above the 100-point level for the first time since March. The coincident global barometer rose 1.4 points to 101.3 points, while the leading barometer increased 1.5 points to 101.6 points, according to a Wednesday release. The increase in both barometers was largely attributed to the positive contributions from the Asia, Pacific and Africa region and the Western Hemisphere.
