On December 11, Omdia's latest research showed that in the third quarter of 2025, Indian PC market shipments reached a record high, with shipments reaching 4.9 million units, an increase of 13% over the previous year. Among them, laptop shipments rose to 4 million units, an increase of 12% over the previous year due to manufacturers speeding up product preparation before the holiday season and stable deliveries to commercial customers. Desktop shipments increased 18% year over year to 920,000 units. In contrast, in the third quarter of 2025, the Indian tablet market declined 19% year over year to 1.6 million units. Although consumer demand has remained relatively stable, tendering and deployment of government-led education projects has been drastically delayed, affecting overall performance.
