The Zhitong Finance App learned that on the morning of December 11, the unveiling ceremony of the Dekang Agriculture and Animal Husbandry (02419) “One Million Villages” project training base was held in Yibin, Sichuan. In order to respond positively to the national rural revitalization strategy and deepen the modernization and transformation of agriculture, Dekang Group focused on building the “One Hundred Villages and One Million” project training base in Yibin. This is the first specialized practical training platform in the country focusing on pig breeding for family farmers. The base covers a total area of about 50 acres. It integrates talent cultivation, technical demonstration and industrial empowerment, and has advanced hardware facilities. It is an important practice to serve the construction of a strong agricultural province and focus on talent revitalization.

The “Joint Initiative for Cultivating New Farmers” was also announced at the ceremony to strengthen close collaboration among the government, colleges, enterprises and farmers to help the high-quality development of the pig breeding industry.

In addition, according to institutional research, the total cost of commercial pigs in Dekang Agriculture and Animal Husbandry was reduced to about 11.80 yuan/kg in November 2025, mainly due to index improvements brought about by increased production efficiency and the promotion of cost reduction and efficiency through fine management. In the future, the company will continue to promote a continuous reduction in the total cost of commercial pigs in terms of weaning costs, material ratio, overall survival rate, and period costs.
