On December 12, local time, the Cambodian Ministry of the Interior issued a statement saying that due to the current round of Cambodian-Thai conflict, more than 81,000 families and about 270,000 civilians have been displaced in Cambodia. The statement said that Thailand's shelling and air raids on Cambodia had penetrated 80 to 90 kilometers deep into Cambodia, causing more than 900 schools to be closed, and more than 210,000 students and 7,600 teachers were affected.
