Global airlines are expected to achieve total net profit of US$41 billion in 2026 (US$39.5 billion in 2025), a record high, but net interest rates remain at 3.9%, the same as in 2025. The average net profit per traveler was $7.90, below the all-time high of $8.50 in 2023, and the same as in 2025.
