First Nordic Metals Completes Mawson Finland Purchase

12:40 AM EST, 12/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- First Nordic Metals (FNMC-SDB.ST, HEG0.F) completed the acquisition of exploration-stage mining development company Mawson Finland (PM6.F) on Tuesday, as expected, according to a same-day release. The exploration company stated that the merger has created a Nordic gold developer and explorer with a total land position exceeding 123,000 hectares and a portfolio of multiple high-quality assets. Mawson shareholders received 1.7884 First Nordic shares for every share held, and Mawson shares will be delisted from the TSX Venture Exchange in Canada. In addition to the completion, First Nordic also disclosed its plan to rebrand as Goldsky Resources, subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange, among other conditions.
