On December 17, Wu Lei, Party Secretary and Chairman of Shanghai Electric Group, and his entourage visited China Energy Construction Group Co., Ltd. and held talks with Ni Zhen, Secretary of the China Energy Construction Party Committee and Chairman. The two sides exchanged views on the “15th Five-Year Plan” plan layout, energy transformation, industrial chain collaboration, and overseas market development. During the talks, the two sides reached a consensus on strengthening strategic coordination and resource integration, and deepening cooperation in new fields such as the construction of new power systems, smart grids, new energy storage systems, and the integration of wind and solar hydrogen storage. During the talks, the two sides also exchanged views on matters such as promoting major national technical research, strengthening supply chain cooperation, and establishing overseas industrial alliances. The two sides stated that they will give full play to their respective advantages in equipment manufacturing and general engineering contracting, jointly increase international market share through “going overseas in groups”, and work together to build more national-level high-quality demonstration projects to make greater contributions to China's construction of a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient new energy system.
