OpenAI's 2025 valuation jumps three levels

Entering October 2025, OpenAI's valuation once again soared to $500 billion through a round of employee stock re-sale transactions of approximately $6.6 billion. This jump in valuation is mainly due to the explosive growth in its annualized revenue (ARR). As of mid-2025, OpenAI's annualized revenue has surpassed $12 billion, an increase of several times over 2024.
