The Zhitong Finance App learned that Air China (00753) rose more than 5% in the afternoon. As of press release, it had risen 5.5% to HK$7.1, with a turnover of HK$254 million.

According to the news, Air China announced that its holding subsidiary Shenzhen Airlines plans to carry out equity financing. The total amount of equity financing is RMB 16 billion, which will be implemented in installments. Among them, the company plans to subscribe for this financing amount according to the shareholding ratio of Shenzhen Airlines (that is, 51%), and the total amount of capital invested by the company in this financing will not exceed RMB 8.16 billion.

According to the announcement, Shenzhen Airlines has successfully introduced Shenzhen Kunhang Investment Partnership (Limited Partnership) as a new investor through public listing, and signed a capital increase agreement and related documents on December 18, 2025. According to this, Air China and Kunhang Investment will invest approximately RMB 2,082 billion and RMB 2 billion respectively to subscribe for the additional registered capital of Shenzhen Airlines. Air China and Kunhang Investment will sign relevant agreements on subsequent capital increases in due course.
