On Thursday, the European Union imposed sanctions on 41 other ships in Russia's “shadow fleet,” bringing the total number of ships on the list to close to 600. The European Council said that these vessels are now prohibited from entering EU ports and can no longer receive a range of services related to shipping. Furthermore, the British government issued an announcement on Thursday saying that as part of the sanctions against Russia, the UK imposed sanctions on 24 entities and individuals, including Russian oil companies Tatneft and Russneft.
