Rare earth metals are the new gold rush. Find out which 35 stocks are leading the charge.
To own BitMine today, you have to be comfortable effectively holding a leveraged, listed proxy on Ethereum, with management intent on building a staking infrastructure around a very concentrated ETH treasury. The latest update reinforces that story rather than rewriting it: the treasury has swelled to about 3.97 million ETH and US$13.30 billions in crypto and cash, ARK Invest has continued buying during a sharp sector pullback, and management is still targeting a 5% slice of ETH supply alongside the MAVAN staking launch in early 2026. Near term, the more immediate swing factors look less about operations and more about governance and capital structure: an inexperienced, rapidly refreshed board, a CFO transition, an investigation into recent corporate actions, and a proposal to increase authorized shares to 50 billion all sit squarely in the risk column. By contrast, BitMine’s share price slide, large unrealized ETH losses and rich earnings multiple already hint that much of the short term impact from this news flow may be sentiment rather than fundamentals, but the dilution and governance overhangs are harder to dismiss.
However, investors also need to weigh what a 50 billion share authorization could mean for their slice of the pie. Bitmine Immersion Technologies' share price has been on the slide but might be dropping deeper into value territory.
