Italian Business Confidence Grows in December; Consumer Sentiment Improves

For the manufacturing sector, the confidence index dropped to 88.4 points from the revised 89.5 points. Analysts expected the figure to stand at 89.3 points. Meanwhile, consumer confidence was 96.6 points, against the prior 95 points and expected 96 points.
