Archer to Extend Long-term Platform Drilling, Maintenance Contract with Aker BP

06:15 AM EST, 12/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Archer (ARCH.OL) said Friday that it will extend its long-term platform drilling and maintenance contract with the Norwegian oil exploration and development company Aker BP (AKRBP.OL) by three years. The Norwegian drilling and well services company noted that the contract extension follows a formal notice from the Norwegian oil exploration and development company. The contract, for an initial period of five years, was awarded in November 2020, covering Ula and Valhall installations in the Norwegian North Sea, and will run through Dec. 31, 2028.
