Valmet to Provide Automation System for Air-to-water Heat Pump Project in Finland

06:17 AM EST, 12/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Valmet (VALMT.HE) received an order from Finnish utility Helen to supply an automation system for its planned air-to-water heat pump plant in Helsinki, Finland. The Finnish process technology company's distributed control system will monitor and control the air-to-water heat pump and the two electric boilers of the Patola heating plant, according to a Friday release. The delivery is scheduled for March 2027. The air-to-water heat pump facility will be the largest in the world, with a full heating production capacity of 30 megawatts.
